The Vision of Trinity church

Our vision here at Trinity is to Connect Generations to Christ, to Community, to Calling.

TO CHRIST

Christ is our first priority, not only did he give His life for us but we have offered our lives back to Him. Connecting people to Christ is our goal, to participate in what He is doing here on the earth, and for people to find their purpose in Him.

TO COMMUNITY

Christ is our first priority, not only did he give His life for us but we have offered our lives back to Him. Connecting people to Christ is our goal, to participate in what He is doing here on the earth, and for people to find their purpose in Him.

TO CALLING

Calling is our God given purpose. We want to create an atmosphere where you can discover your calling and put it to use. Our hope is that Trinity Church is a place where people are living out their God given calling and impacting the world around them.

Our beliefs at Trinity Church

The following are the core beliefs of Trinity Church based on the foundational truths taught in the bible. All of our teaching and ministry is rooted in and flows out of these biblical doctrines.
God - The Trinity
There is one eternally existing God who has three distinct persons: God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. He is the creator of all that exists, both visible and invisible, and is therefore worthy of all glory and praise.  God is perfect in love, power, holiness, goodness, knowledge, wisdom,  justice, and mercy. He is unchangeable and therefore is the same yesterday, today, and tomorrow.
Matt. 28:19, John 15:26
Revelation
God has revealed himself to us through his son, Jesus Christ, who is the visible image of the invisible God, the holy scriptures, and through all of creation itself.
Mankind
Humans, both male and female, were created in God's image for His glory. The first humans, Adam and Eve, were created without sin and appointed as caretakers of the rest of God's creations.
The Fall
When Adam and Eve chose not to obey God, they ceased to be what they were made to be and became distorted images of God. This caused them to fall out of fellowship with God, and fractured all of creation ever since that time.
Salvation
Jesus Christ came to reconcile us with God. He lived a life without sin and willingly died on the cross to pay the penalty for our transgressions. God raised him from the dead and now, by grace, offers as a free gift eternal life to all who follow Christ, by faith, as their Lord and Savior. The New Birth is necessary for all men, and is received by faith in Jesus Christ, through grace, apart from works.  This produces eternal life.
John 3:3-5, Ephesians 2:8, 1 John 5:11-12
Baptism
We believe in water baptism, the Baptism of the Holy Spirit as distinct from the New Birth, in speaking with tongues as the Spirit of God gives utterance, in the gifts of the Spirit, and in the evidence of the fruit of the Spirit. We believe that all of these are available to every believer.
Matt. 28:19, Acts 2:4, Acts 8:36-37, Rom. 6:4
Healing
Divine Healing is provided for in the atonement to give physical healing to the body. It is to be received through faith, by the laying on of hands, by the anointing with oil, and by the prayer of faith.
Isaiah 53:5, Deut. 7:15, 1 Peter 2:24, James 5:14-15
Resurrection
Jesus Christ is returning one day to judge both the living and the dead and to usher in the fullness of God's kingdom on earth.
1 Thes. 4:17, 1 Peter 4:5
