Leadership

Ed and Susan Dowell are the Pastors of Trinity Church, a thriving dynamic church in Temple, Texas. Ed and Susan have been married nearly 32 years and have been in the ministry for all of those years. In those years of ministry, they have served as Youth Pastors and Praise and Worship leaders and now are serving as Senior Pastors.  They have raised two children, Jessica (who is married to Casey Jackson) and Mark (married to Sydnie).    Casey is our Worship Pastor and Mark is our Student Pastor.  Ed and Susan are also grandparents to two beautiful granddaughters. They all have a heart to serve the Body of Christ. Pastor Ed and Susan’s vision is to equip believers to fulfill their divine purpose and see families serve the Lord together. 

Bryan Allen served as the music minister at Trinity Church since June 1, 2011 and now is leading as Assistant Pastor.  Bryan gave his life to the Lord in 1986.  In 1987, he felt the call of God to go to Christ For the Nations Institute in Dallas, TX.  He met his wife, Stephanie, there in 1989. They have served in different areas of ministry for the past 25 years, including worship leading, youth pastoring and pastoring.  They have 3 children:  Amanda (who is married to Stephen Trusty), Joseph, and Bethany. 

Sarah Oldham is serving as our Children’s Pastor at Trinity Church. She has a desire to see children fulfill the purpose that God has for designed for them.  She is very dedicated to the Lord and knows that God has called her to minister to children.  She is passionate for the church of this generation and the generation to come with our children being our future leaders. She is helping to train them for ministry NOW, not just for when they are adults. 

Casey Jackson is serving as our Creative Media Director and Worship Pastor at Trinity Church. His desire is to see the church fulfill the purpose that God has for designed for them.  He is very dedicated to the Lord and knows that God has called him to minister with his creative gifts in worship and the creative arts team.  He is passionate for the church of this generation and to see God's glory be seen through the church.

Mark Dowell is serving as our Student Ministry Pastor at Trinity Church. He has a desire to see our youth/students fulfill the purpose that God has for designed for them. He graduated from Christ For The Nations Bible School in Dallas with an associates degree in Youth Ministry. He is passionate for the church of this generation and the generation to come with our youth being our future leaders. He is helping to train them for ministry NOW, not just for when they are adults. 

The founding Pastors Wilburn & Doris Burns faithfully taught the Word of God to the body of Christ at Trinity Church for 30 years.  They brought to the Bell County area the teaching of praise & worship, divine healing, and the authority of the believer. Pastor Wilburn and Doris stepped down as the Senior Pastors in 2006 and are now Pastor Emeritus. They are still very involved in leadership and oversight of Trinity Church.
